| Management TollBridge Technologies has attracted top engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and business development talent from industry leaders in telecommunications and data communications. Members of the management team are industry veterans who have helped shape the infrastructure and services of today's telecommunications and data communications industry. The team's solid experience and understanding of their customers are critical elements in the company's ability to bring the right product to market at the right time. Founder President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Tauss has led the development of telecommunications networks in 25 countries, using broadcast, circuit switching, packet switching and cell switching technologies to provide the most reliable systems in the world. Prior to joining TollBridge, Tauss was vice president and general manager of Ramp Networks (later acquired by Nokia), a leading small-office router manufacturer, with responsibility for engineering, customer support and marketing. He has also held senior management positions at GTE Spacenet, BBN Communications, NCI and DTI. Founder Chief Technical Officer Prior to founding TollBridge, Asher Waldfogel spent 20 years in the networking industry, contributing to the architecture and development of numerous breakthrough products including: Internet Management Protocols for the original ARPA/Internet backbone; the industry's first multi-protocol bridge/router; the first virtual LAN router; and the first high-density packet DSL access multiplexer. Waldfogel co-founded Redback Networks and served as a technical and marketing consultant to Copper Mountain Networks. He has also held executive positions at Bay Networks/SynOptics Communications and Wellfleet Communications. Vice President Worldwide Sales James Grady brings to TollBridge 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager at PrimeCo, a start-up and part of AirTouch Communications Inc. (formerly PacTel Corp). Grady was also a director of sales and marketing at PrimeCo and built the Houston market from scratch to 100,000 subscribers in the first year of operation. Earlier, Grady was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and a product manager at Hewlett-Packard. Vice President Business Development Bob Yundt has enjoyed a distinguished career in the high growth segments of the wireless and wireline telecommunications industry. Prior to joining TollBridge, he was vice president of marketing and business development for a number of companies including: Astrolink, a $3.5 billion global wireless broadband venture, GTE Wireless, NextWave Telecom, and GTE Spacenet. Yundt spearheaded joint ventures, secured financing, created new distribution channels, and created co-marketing alliances for broadband data, wireless and wireline telephony applications. Mr. Yundt also held executive positions with MCI, chartered to augment MCI's core business with data communications and information service businesses, and lead MCI's efforts to create the company's national and strategic account programs. Chief Financial Officer Ken Schneider comes to TollBridge from American Sterling Communications, a voice and Internet access products for broadband networks, where he held the position of Vice President and CFO. Previously Schneider was Vice President and CFO for First Pacific Networks, the pioneer in development of access products for the Internet, cable, and telephone/utility. Before that Schneider was a partner at Cooper's (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) and specialized in emerging companies, IPOs and Merger and Acquisition activity. Chief Operating Officer Pierre Patkay is responsible for engineering, manufacturing and customer support. Prior to joining TollBridge, Patkay was Vice President and General Manager for 3Com's OEM business. In this role, he was responsible for addressing the traditional PC-OEM market and expanding into other OEM segments. Previously, Patkay served as Vice President of Systems Manufacturing also at 3Com, where he was responsible for worldwide manufacturing of networking products such as routers, hubs, and switches. Prior to 3Com, Patkay was Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Quantum Corporation, where he was responsible for manufacturing, materials, logistics and information systems during a time that Quantum became a dominant player in the disk drive industry. Patkay also spent 17 years at Hewlett Packard in engineering, manufacturing and general management positions. He is currently a board member of RadiSys Corporation, a publicly traded designer and manufacturer of embedded computer solutions for the telecommunications industry. Vice President Marketing Prior to TollBridge, Woods was director of marketing for PairGain Technologies, now the wireline division of ADC Telecommunications. He has held senior marketing and product management positions at Lannet, Inc. and Madge Networks, but is best known for his work in helping popularize Ethernet and 10BASE-T technology during his tenure with SynOptics Communications. Woods has been an advisor in the design of numerous large-scale public and private telecommunications networks and in the development of new carrier data services. He has extensive experience in VoIP DSL and network management technologies. Vice President Sales Fitzgerald joins TollBridge from RiverDelta Networks, a next-generation CMTS manufacturer that was recently acquired by Motorola. Prior to that, Fitzgerald had more than 10 years of experience in senior sales management roles at telecommunications equipment manufacturers, including Harmonic and Raychem. |
