Ramp Joins Voice of Broadband Alliance Program and Exhibits with TollBridge at ComTel 2000 in Long Beach, CASANTA CLARA, Calif., February 22, 2000 - Ramp Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: RAMP), a leading provider of easy-to-use, shared Internet access devices, and TollBridge Technologies, a leading developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions for a new generation of carriers, announced today the two companies have partnered to promote a new initiative to provide interoperability and standardization for Voice-over-DSL technologies. As part of the initiative, Ramp Networks announced that it has joined TollBridge's Voice of Broadband Alliance program. Ramp will be featured in TollBridge's booth #249 at the ComTel 2000 show in Long Beach, California, which begins on February 20th. The Voice of Broadband Alliance program will help define the standards and interoperability of technologies needed by voice and data Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) to provide small business and branch office customers with a fully integrated access device for enabling VoDSL products. Ramp will conduct compatibility tests in TollBridge's new interoperability lab. Ramp and TollBridge will jointly participate in customer trials for VoDSL deployment.
