(NYSE: LSI) announced today it has invested as a corporate partner in Tollbridge Technologies, the leading developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions for a new generation of carriers. The equity investment by LSI Logic is part of the company's previously announced strategy to invest in communications companies with promising technologies. LSI recently established a $50 million communications venture fund to expand LSI Logic's position in the global communications market.
