THRIFTY CALL AND TOLLBRIDGE TECHNOLOGIES PARTNER TO DELIVER VOICE-OVER-DSL SERVICES AT TEXALTEL
TEXALTEL Attendees Can Try Out Services, Call Anywhere in U.S.

AUSTIN, TX, April 10, 2000 - Golden Harbor of Texas, Inc., a leading competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) and a subsidiary of Thrifty Call, Inc., and TollBridge Technologies, the leading developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions for the new generation of carriers, announced today that they are providing voice-over-Digital-Subscriber-Line (VoDSL) connectivity to TEXALTEL attendees. TollBridge is demonstrating its products, in conjunction with Thrifty Call, at the VoDSL phone bank located within TollBridge's booth at the TEXATEL conference, taking place April 10-12 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.

Hamburg hôtelsThe technology exhibition, which simulates a typical customer deployment, demonstrates that VoDSL delivers high-quality audio transmission and is a viable solution for users today. Attendees at the show will be able to test the quality of VoDSL by using a network of phones supplied by TollBridge to make a call to anywhere in the United States over the Thrifty Call network.

On the local-carrier side, Golden Harbor of Texas is providing Class 5 telephony services using the Bellcore GR-303 protocol to connect to TollBridge's TB 200, a carrier grade Local Exchange Gateway. Golden Harbor will also connect to a CopperEdge CE200 DSLAM (DSL access multiplexer) concentrator that provides the DSL connection for local dial-up Internet access over Frame Relay. On the end-user side, the TollBridge

TB50 Integrated Access Device (IAD) supports the bank of phones available to TEXALTEL attendees.
