TollBridge and Carrier Partner to Demonstrate Voice-over-Broadband Solution at ConferenceSANTA CLARA, Calif., October 30, 2000 - TollBridge Technologies, the leading developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions for a new generation of carriers, will be exhibiting and sponsoring a free phone bank for broadband voice calls at this year's NGN 2000 show, Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, in Washington, D.C. Visitors to TollBridge booth #212 can utilize the TollBridge-supplied bank of telephones to call anywhere in the United States using the TollVoice System. The calls will be made over GR 303 circuits supplied by BTI Communications. The system demonstrated at the show includes the following TollBridge products: - TB50, Integrated Access Device (IAD) that converts voice samples from multiple calls into packets and prioritizes voice and data traffic for transmission over any broadband access network
- Frankfurt am Main cheap hotelsTB55 IAD, similar to TB50 w/ a build-in, integrated SDSL modem.
- TB200, a carrier-grade Local Exchange Gateway that translates packets back into voice and connects to Class 5 switches using the Bellcore GR-303 protocol and new emerging protocols such as SIP and MGCP;
- TollView Management Suite, including the graphical Element Management System (EMS) for end-to-end configuration, troubleshooting and performance management of up to 100 TB200 systems from HP OpenView on SUN Solaris platforms.
