TOLLBRIDGE AND NETISUNTM LAUNCH FIRST VOICE-OVER-DSL FOR MULTI TENANT UNITS WITH T1 CAS PROTOCOL Indianapolis and Chicago Business Centers Chosen for First ImplementationIndianapolis, and Santa Clara, Calif., November 8, 2000 - The first beta deployment of VoDSL for Multi-Tenant Unit (MTU) office buildings was announced today by TollBridge Technologies, a developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions for a new generation of carriers, and Indianapolis-headquartered Netisun, a developer of technology implementation and management for commercial businesses. The installation of the new technology will be in six downtown Indianapolis office buildings developed by the Mansur Group and selected by NetisunTM to be prototypes for a new concept in centralized information and data management for tenants of high rise, Class A office space, including the Market Tower building. Netisun has also been chosen to develop the concept in beta test for office buildings in Chicago. hôtels GrenadeThe new deployments will use TollBridge's TB200 Voice Gateway. The TB200 uses the T1 CAS protocol to communicate with the switch; the customer has the choice to connect to the switch via GR-303 or T1 CAS with the same TB200. Given the large T1 CAS protocol deployment in legacy switches among telecom carriers, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, voice-over-DSL can now reach these markets quickly and easily. The Netisun facility, located in the Market Tower, is called the InfraspaceSM technology management center, and will offer Mansur tenants and surrounding businesses a complete range of telecommunications and Internet-based solutions, including access to an on-premise data center, all backed by local support. "While most providers focus on either data (broadband) or voice services, we take the customer's perspective by offering a complete spectrum of technology solutions," said Netisun president, David L. Clark. "We begin by reviewing and synthesizing technology options for the customer . This gives our clients a significant advantage by reducing the number of vendors with which they must deal while minimizing costs." "The multi-tenant unit market segment is an ideal growth segment for Netisun and TollBridge," said Gary Tauss, president and CEO of TollBridge Technologies. "We see our products, along with Netisun's high level of service and full compliment of solutions, as a way to simplify the way businesses address technology issues in the future." Formed by the merger of three successful companies in August, Netisun is a comprehensive technology solutions provider. Netisun plans to extend the technology management center concept to other major domestic and international markets. "This concept is designed to centralize and simplify the delivery and management of technology solutions to building tenants," said Clark. "We will co-locate Netisun web and application servers and a client's server in a central location, giving them increased performance, capacity, scalability, redundancy, manageability, and security. Netisun will be the virtual IT department for our customers. "We will work with the property owner and management to provide a customized and integrated property management solution through the Internet. Together, this creates a synergy benefiting the tenant, the building owner and the property manager," he said. Mansur Group Early Supplier of Voice and Data for Tenants "Mansur Group has been a market leader in supplying voice and data services to tenants for more than 12 years," said Chuck Cagann, president, Mansur Real Estate services. "With the Netisun InfraspaceSM technology management center, the Mansur Group properties will be able to provide the best and most comprehensive information technology solutions to our tenants, at a time when most providers are focused primarily on voice or data services. "Mansur Group is excited about this venture with Netisun. With the addition of Netisun's Infraspace center to our high level of service offered to customers, we have solidified our position in the marketplace," Cagann said. Netisun will use the Infraspace concept to expand services available to tenants. Netisun provides dedicated high-speed connectivity in more than 50 U.S. cities and Canada and plans to offer services in Europe and Asia. All services offered by Netisun can be purchased individually or as a package. One unified bill is sent to the tenant for the services chosen.
