TOLLBRIDGE TECHNOLOGIES TO PROVIDE VOICE GATEWAYS FOR THE FIRST STANDARDS BASED IP VOICE OVER CABLE NETWORK
Santa Clara, Calif. - April 11, 2001 - TollBridge Technologies, a pioneer in IP voice over broadband solutions, has been selected by Nortel Networks to help build voice over coaxial cable networks based on the Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS). TollBridge Technologies also announced today the initiation of integration and testing activities at Nortel Networks' advanced cable IP development laboratory at Friedrichshafen, Germany. First customer deployments are planned to start July 2001 in Europe.
