The addition of an IP-based, toll quality voice partner adds another dimension to our existing suite of DSL and ATM voice and data services for the small business office. The full set of services offered by Woodwind in the convergence of data and voice communications is yet another capability that a partner like Tollbridge can now take advantage of and provide to customers, stated Dick Berger, Executive VP of Marketing and Sales at Woodwind Communications.

Bojnice hotel offersJim Grady, Vice President of Marketing for TollBridge, comments The DSX1 digital interface on the ClariNet system enables connection to digital PBXs and thus opens up new market opportunities, expanding the market for Voice over DSL.

The ClariNetTM Service IntelligentTM Integrated Network System is a customer-premise, network edge device that blends unprecedented service migration and deployment ease with a single point of connectivity for the delivery of highly integrated network services. These services include high-speed, continuous Internet access, public (PSTN) voice/facsimile services and LAN interconnect using ATM, Frame Relay over xDSL or T1 delivery technologies. The ClariNet will provide local data flexibility by supplying standard 10BaseT Ethernet and optional Frame Relay (over a local T1 or EIA 530 interface) for legacy Frame Relay access device (FRAD) data equipment. Advanced LAN features available on the ClariNet include IP routing (DHCP, RIP and NAT) and firewall security. The stackable product offers local voice service delivery of 4, 8 or 12 FXS lines or up to 24 PBX voice channels over a local T1 interface.
