| Partners Overview Today's complex telecommunications networks consist of hardware, software and services from multiple suppliers. For Voice over Broadband, the TollBridge products are just part of a series of end-to-end elements that make the service work. TollBridge recognizes this, and works toward interoperability, technology and service arrangements with other best-of-breed partners. This is a customer-driven activity. Rather than quickie interoperability tests for the purpose of a press release, TollBridge acquires and integrates the products and technologies that our customers are asking for into our systems test lab. This ensures that with every release of TollBridge and partner software, the end-to-end solution will be fully regression tested.
In recent months, TollBridge has been conducting intensive interoperability testing for MSOs with a variety of other manufacturers. The results of this testing has made the TollBridge TB300 the most compatible voice over Packet Cable solution available today. ADC Telecommunications, ARRIS, Cadant, Motorola, Inc. and Tellabs equipment now interoperates with the TollBridge TB300 gateway, which began shipping for trials and deployments this month. The TB300 gateway has tested for interoperability with the following products: - ADC Telecommunications Cuda 12000 CMTS & Edge Router
- ARRIS Cornerstone CMTS1000 and PacketPort MTA
- Cadant C4TM CMTS
- Motorola DCM 2000 CMTS and CG4500E and SB3500 MTAs
- Tellabs CABLESPAN® CVM410 embedded MTA
These five vendors provide DOCSIS 1.1 MTA and CMTS equipment for the cable IP telephony network. The CMTS is an aggregation device and IP router for cable modem subscribers that have data or voice over packet services. The MTA is a residential or small business device located at the subscribers home or office that derives voice and data services. Read more in the recent press release |
