Charlotte ChapterThe Charlotte Chapter of the Society of Design Administration was founded in June, 1990. At that time, the organization was known as the Society of Architectural Administrators, however, in 1995 the national organization voted to expand membership to include administrators in engineering, construction, interior design, and other design professions. The name was changed to the The Society of Design Administration to encompass these design fields. Our chapter has members form all these fields and affiliated professions such as risk management and computer professionals. The Charlotte Chapter has a lunch meeting every second Tuesday of the month with a speaker and we meet every fourth Thursday evening for the executive business meeting.
