| ![]() Nickel Wear-Facing Alloys |
A family of Nickel based alloys which offers excellent resistance to the effects ofcorrosion, erosion, high temperature oxidation, abrasion, and metal to metal wear. Their low melting point (under 2000 F) enables overlays to be applied with minimumdilution and base metal distortion.
Alloys are self-fluxing and are easily applied by OAW (OXYACETYLENE), GTAW (Tig), SMAW(Coated Electrodes), GMAW (Mig), PTA and flame spray on clean base metals.
Nickel alloys can be applied to most base metals, cast irons, steels, stainless steels, nickel and cobalt alloys and others, thereby eliminating a confusing selection process.
Protective Metal Alloy's unique sintered powder metallurgy process allows foreconomical manufacture of all standard diameter rods from 5/16" (.3125") down to1/32 (.031") (7.94mm to .794mm).
